In Loving Memory…

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude that we gather to remember and celebrate the remarkable life of Terry Addison—a cherished husband, devoted stepdad, and beloved friend. Terry was more than a Traffic Officer at our local Traffic Control company; he was the embodiment of kindness, humor, and unwavering support. Terry had a unique ability to brighten the darkest of days. With a smile that could light up any room and a laugh that felt like sunshine, he had an uncanny knack for making people feel valued and appreciated, even when times were tough. He often quipped, “If I was any better, I’d be twins,” a humorous declaration that reflected his unmatched positivity and boundless spirit. Through this playful phrase, Terry reminded us that happiness is not just a state of being—it’s a perspective, one that he embraced wholeheartedly. His dedication to his work was unwavering, and he took great pride in ensuring the safety of his crew. As a previously employed Memphis, TN Police Officer, Terry knew how to handle chaos with grace, transforming potentially dangerous situations into moments of calm. His leadership was characterized by a steady hand and a soothing voice, qualities that reassured everyone around him. He was a rock, forever standing as a shoulder to lean on, ready to assist even those who might not have considered him a friend. His unwavering empathy extended to all, reflecting a core value that defined his character. Terry’s warmth and generosity left an indelible mark in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was a beacon of genuine, loving, and caring behavior—a man who would give the last shirt off his back to someone in need. Even in the face of challenges, he remained upbeat, never allowing negativity to cloud his spirit. Though Terry has departed from our lives, his legacy continues to inspire us every day. In honor of his profound impact, my mom and I have embarked on a new chapter by creating Allegiant Protective Services, LLC - Traffic Control. Through this company, we aim to carry on Terry’s legacy of excellence, safety, and compassion in the traffic control industry. We are committed to upholding the high standards he instilled in us and ensuring that his light continues to shine through our work.

While Terry Addison may not physically be here anymore, he will never be forgotten. His laughter, his kindness, and his incredible spirit live on in our memories and in the lives he touched. We miss you dearly, Terry. Thank you for everything. Your love, laughter, and legacy will forever guide us.
